Is it possible to increase Xoom transfer limits?

Yes. The highest limits from Xoom are offered to Level 3 account holders.

If you have a Level 1 or 2 account with Xoom you can increase your transfer limit by switching your account to a higher level.

How to increase Xoom transfer limits

If you start to arrange a payment which exceeds your Xoom account level maximum payment amount, you won’t be able to send it. Instead, if you have a level 1 or 2 account, you’ll be shown steps on screen to allow you to move your account to a higher tier. How to send high amount transfers with Xoom

You arrange your Xoom payments online or in the Xoom app, by creating an account, getting verified if needed, and then entering the details of your payment. If you’re sending a smaller amount and only need a level 1 account, all you need is your personal and contact information. For higher amounts you may need to give more information or upload documents as we’ve seen. Verification may take a day or two, so be sure to give yourself time for this step if you’re sending a higher value payment with Xoom.

Once you have your account registered, you can send a payment with Xoom in the following way:

  1. Log into your Xoom account online or in the app
  2. Select the country and currency you’re sending to from the drop down box
  3. Enter the amount to send and select how you want the payment to be received
  4. Confirm how you want to pay, to see the final costs and received amount

Here’s the information needed when you send a Xoom payment to a bank account:
